Over the past four months, ISTG has hosted Oana Constantin from Bucharest, Romania, as a Community Solutions Fellow. As Advocacy Coordinator for Iele-Sânziene, Oana brought her extensive experience promoting menstrual health and equity to our team, leaving a lasting impact that will resonate far beyond her stay.
A Focus on Community and Innovation
Oana’s commitment to creating safe, inclusive environments was evident in her innovative approaches to volunteer management and youth engagement. She helped our volunteer coordination efforts and introduced new ideas that made our outreach to young people more engaging and impactful. Her ability to connect with volunteers and inspire them toward advocacy has been a game-changer for ISTG.
A Legacy of Passion and Advocacy
As Oana returns to Romania, we are reminded of her passionate advocacy and strategic insights. Her work has helped refine our approaches to community engagement and policy advocacy, setting new standards for how we support the populations we serve.
Heartfelt Farewell
It’s hard to express just how much Oana will be missed. Her passion, dedication, and innovative mind have touched all aspects of our work. As she continues her advocacy for menstrual equity in Romania, she does so with the support and gratitude of everyone at ISTG.
We look forward to the possibility of collaborating again in the future and are excited to see the continued impact of her incredible work.
Oana’s time at ISTG has been a testament to the power of dedicated individuals committed to improving the world. Her departure is a bittersweet moment for us, but we are thankful for the months we spent together and the enduring impact of her contributions.
