About

I Support the Girls – Detroit collects and distributes bras, underwear, and menstrual products to people in crisis. Since 2016, we have donated nearly 27,000 pairs of underwear, over 33,000 bras, and more than 726,000 menstrual products to over 105 local organizations in Detroit and the Southeast Michigan area–including food banks, homeless shelters, transitional housing centers, schools, and community centers. We love to find new recipient organizations, so please contact us if you have a need for these products.

We primarily serve Wayne County, with additional outreach in Washtenaw, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, and surrounding counties.

Local Impact

Thank you so very much for helping out our patients who need it the most. You are truly a blessing.
Covenant Community Care
I just wanted to reiterate how grateful we are for your generous donation! Sometimes the girls are too shy to talk to their teacher about not having feminine products. Your donation will allow for them to just take what they need when they need it no questions asked.

School Social Worker
We want to extend a HUGE thank you for your incredible support and the generous resources you donated for this event. We were truly floored by the inclusivity in the sizing of the undergarments and the wide range of hygiene products you provided. Because of your generosity, we served kids and adults of all ages, making a meaningful impact. This event not only energized the Detroit community but also inspired our team to continue the important work we do.
